Johnnie Tuitel is also the author of The Gun Lake Adventure Series, an internationally recognized series of children’s books where the unique hero is a boy in a wheelchair.
Each year Johnnie visits various elementary schools around the country to talk with students about the importance of reading, writing, and the art of storytelling. Johnnie is one of the most requested elementary school speakers, speaking to over 40 elementary and over 20 secondary schools in the spring of 2006.
